I had to share my blog address for my technology class, so I guess I should start writing in my blog again -- at least for the next week anyway for my grade lol.
So school has started back up. That means I am going crazy running from my classes to subbing at the high school. Keeping up with my studies is going to be crazy this semester! Oh well, I will make it. Even if it takes mucho Corona's!!

Welcome fall!
The weather has been beautiful lately! I spent last weekend at Mom and Me with Youngest Son. We slept in hammock tents and had a blast. It was WAY easier than setting up a full tent. I may never go back to a regular tent again.
Did you know you can start a fire with steel wool and a 9-volt battery? I heard about that last week, so of course we had to try it out at camp. It was totally cool. We also used a magnesium fire starter and steel file. Yeah, I'm a bit of a pyro. :) But that's what we do in Scouts -- tie things up and set it on fire.
I'm going back to camp this weekend to work staff. It should be loads of fun as well. Hopefully I'll have lots of fun stories to share next week. Check back!

Time to relax!
We made it through Cub Day Camp and Webelos Camp, so now I've got a couple of months to relax before things kick into overdrive for the fall. I'm excited about this last year of Cub Scouts. It will be nice to bridge the boys over and then only have Boy Scout stuff on the schedule.
I got tapped out for OA at summer camp. I'm a little nervous about Ordeal weekend coming up. I get the feeling they work you pretty hard. But I can put up with anything for the short term. lol.
I'm looking forward to going to Branson in August. It will be nice to get away.
I guess that's all for now.

It was a great weekend!
We had a wonderful time this weekend. Saturday was spent doing yard work -- mowing, weeding, burning brush. I never got around to edging, but there will be time for that this week, I think. A little wore this morning, but weeding the flower beds always does that to me.
Today was a nice lazy day. Slept late, watched a little tv, laid in the hammock and read some. Had dinner at Shogun's with the family and my Mom, followed by a White Mocha from Starbucks. Life would be perfect if I didn't have to go to work tomorrow. But since I married for love instead of money, I guess I'll go to work. Next time around I will have to go for money! ;
Fourteen more days of school, then the kids will probably go off to the MIL's for a week or so. They are ready for it, plus they need some new shoes.
I'm ready for the lazier days that come with summer. We still have stuff going on, but at a slightly less frantic pace than we do during the school year. I'm definitly ready to go to Webelos Camp. It's nice to be at Dierks for a few days without the pressures of work and life. No cell phones, no video games. Sitting around the campfire. Can't wait.

Update on life....
DH is doing well. He's tired of being at the house and ready to get back to work. I think he's mostly worried about what they are tearing up while he's not there. lol He's lost a little more weight, but that will make his dr. happy. I think I'm losing a little bit of weight too. We've switched the whole house to a low-cholesterol way of eating. Might as well teach the kids how to eat properly since they now have heart disease from both sides.
Spring is always a busy time for us with Scouts. As crazy as it is, it's nice because it's stuff we do as a family. I'm sure we'll miss it when the kids are gone!

Just to make Denise happy....
Apparently it's been a while since I posted. So Denise, this is for you....
Lots going on. ES will be 14 in 10 days. Gah! It's hard to belive. Scouts is keeping us busy. YS won 2nd place at the Pinewood Derby on Saturday. Whoo hoo! He did most of the work on his car. Just a few little things were done by dad, and that was just for safety reasons. Next year he will do the car all on his own. It's pretty cool.

A big ol' case of the don't want too's...
That's what I've got today. A big ol' case of the don't want too's. The weather outside is beautiful and I'm stuck in an office with no windows. I wish I was at home digging in my flower beds or laying in my hammock. The house is on it's way to being clean and I'm even caught up on the laundry. Oh, sure there is still work that could be done on the piles in my bedroom or in the computer/dining room. I even put away some of the stuff that's been laying in the garage since June. I think all that's left is the heavy stuff that the hubby needs to find a place for.
Speaking of hubby, he will come home tomorrow. He's been gone all week and we've really missed him.
Well, time to be productive. TTFN!
